Prof. Ada Aharoni was born in Cairo, Egypt and now
lives in Haifa, Israel. She is an internationally renowned writer, researcher,
poet and playwright, who has been called "The Author of Reconciliation and
Peace." She has published 29 books to date, and is recipient of several
international prizes and awards,
including the: The British Council Literary Award, the Haifa and Bremen
Literature Prize, The President Shimon Peres Award for Peace Culture, and the
French Prize “Temoignage” December 2014, for her book: NOT IN VAIN (Carmel,
Jerusalem). She is the Founder and International President of IFLAC: The
International Forum for the Literature and Culture of Peace.
