The Alpha of the Alef-Bet: First Steps in Hebrew is designed for students learning Hebrew from scratch. It is based almost exclusively on a Hebrew vocabulary rather than foreign words, enriching students with a total of 450 new Hebrew words. It includes glossaries on every page and a full dictionary at the end.

The book Handful of Stories contains 30 stories, rated according to their level of difficulty. The book is designed to enrich students learning Hebrew with the textbook Hebrew from Scratch and to provide them with the experience of reading in Hebrew as they take their first steps in learning the language. At the bottom of each story, difficult words are translated into English, and at the end of the book, there is a dictionary in six languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian and Korean.

The audio sequences accompany the book Handful of Stories and contain 30 stories, rated according to their level of difficulty. This book is geared towards students who have been studying Hebrew for four-five months (level 3). The texts in the book (taken from an array of Israeli newspapers and magazines) were edited to create a gradual progress in vocabulary as well as grammar and syntax. The study units include text, writing assignments, and language exercises. The book offers a range of writing styles: instructions, descriptions, discussions, expression of opinion, journalistic accounts etc.

This book is intended for students with a basic knowledge of Hebrew. There are 17 study units. Every unit includes text, writing assignments, oral assignments, and grammar exercises. The texts are varied and the progression is gradual. There is great emphasis on vocabulary practice in every unit. There are also stories provided in between units for self-practice.
