This book includes the entire text of the students text-book. Many students do not really know how to learn. The goal of these books is to empower the EFL teacher with a cognitive approach to language teaching. The materials were designed to teach students to learn and think while learning English. Though many elements of this book can be used with any population of EFL students, the approach described here is attuned primarily to the needs of young adults who have failed to acquire the necessary EFL skills during their regular school study. The book focuses on reading and comprehension as its primary target. The materials start for beginners and prepares students to study at a pre-academic level. The approach is based on the idea of the enhancement of students’ cognitive functions at the same time as they are studying EFL. As such it differs from traditional academic approaches. Thinking and cognition are the key to foreign language comprehension. Good thinkers may be defined as those who use effective strategies, and everyone can be taught to become a more effective thinker.
