Abraham Cohn

The translator, Abraham (Ernst) Cohn, Willy Cohn’s son, immigrated to Israel as part of a Youth Immigration Organization group in 1935. He was one of the founders of Kibbutz Maoz-Haim and remained a kibbutz member his entire life. He brought the diaries to Israel in 1960 and spent many years translating them after long days of working on the kibbutz.
