Dr. Ari Offengenden studied psychology at Tel Aviv University. He wrote his doctorate in Hebrew and general literature at Haifa University. He taught at the Protestant theology department and was a research fellow at the Institute for Ethics in Science at the University of Tübingen. His post-doc he wrote at Monash University in Melbourne. He is a professor of Hebrew literature and culture at Oberlin College, Ohio.
