Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa (1486-1535) – philosopher, physician, jurist, humanist and scholar of witchcraft and Kabbalah – was one of the intriguing and rebellious figures of the Renaissance. He moved between royal courts, universities and intellectual circles in Europe, battling the religious and academic establishment and going against philosophical and theological conventions that defined the spirit of his time. His thought combined science, mysticism, philosophy and rare intellectual audacity.
