Dr Michal Zmora-Cohen (1926-2015) was one of the founders of the Department of Musicology at Tel Aviv University, director of the music department at Kol Israel Radio, head of the music department at the Ministry of Education's Culture and Art Committee, and director of the Jerusalem Academy of Music.
