Child and adult psychiatrist. Past President of the Israeli Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Training analyst in child and adult psychoanalysis. Past President of the Israeli Psychoanalytical Society and Chair of its Ethics Committee. Formerly Director of Infant Psychiatry Unit at the Tel Aviv Mental Health Centre of Kupat Holim (Ramat Chen) and former Director of the Unit for Forensic Assessments. Dr. Golomb teaches at Tel-Aviv University’s post graduate studies in the Medical School in the courses of Psychotherapy, Child and Adult Psychiatry, Infant Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry; she also taught the in the Israeli Psychoanalytical Society, and at various specialization courses for judges, lawyers, and social workers dealing with family law and mediation. She served on Israel Justice Ministry’s Committee for Children’s Rights Legislation headed by Justice Savyona Rotlevi, and was Chair of its Sub-committee on Child Protection. Formerly member of Israel’s National Mental Health Council. For many years Dr. Golomb has been giving expert court opinions on parental competence.
