Dr. Avital Gershfeld-Litvin is an instructing medical psychologist. She is engaged in psychological treatment, training and research in the fields of illness, disability, loss and grief. She completed her PhD in philosophy at Tel Aviv University dealing with breast cancer. She works as a hospice psychologist at Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital, and is Head of the medical psychology department at The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yafo.
