Professor Dov Levin is one of the preeminent contemporary international scholars of the history of Eastern European Jewish Communities.

Professor Dov Levin was the Director of the Oral History Division of the Harman Institute of Contemporary Jewry, at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Over the course of 50 years he conducted over 610 interviews relating to the history of the Baltic Jews during WWII, the Anders army, the history of the theater in Israel and many other subjects.
