Haya Shenhav is an Israeli author and poet, writing mostly for children, but also for adults. She has won the Ze'ev Prize for Children's and Youth Literature (1985), the Bialik Prize for Literature (2004) and the Minister of Culture Prize for Early Childhood Literature (2007).
