יגאל שוורץ

Prof. Yigal Schwartz is the head of the "HEKSHERIM" Institute for Jewish and Israeli Literature and Culture at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and in charge of the S.Y. Agnon Chair in Contemporary Hebrew Literature established by the German Associates. Schwartz is the editor of the Hebrew fiction series in the publishing houses of Kinneret-Zmora-Dvir and Pardes. He already published sixteen research books, a novel – "Hungarian Chorus" - and a children book – "What's the Moon Really Made of?" – with his daughter Zohar. He edited more than 300 books: research, fiction, poetry and plays. In 2020, two more books were published – "The Silver Platter: A Chapter in Dialogic Historiography" – by Kadima, and "From Here on Out: Essays on Israeli literature", by Pardes.
