Prof. Yael Reshef teaches in the Hebrew Language Department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her doctoral thesis (1999) under the supervision of Prof. Moshe Bar-Asher dealt with the use of language in early Hebrew music. Her scientific fields of interest: the revival of Hebrew, the development of spoken Hebrew, styles and combinations in modern Hebrew, language and culture, language and society, standardization processes, processes of linguistic change, grammaticalization, linguistic traditions.
