מיכאל סופר


Prof. Michael Sofer is a member of Bar Ilan's Department of Geography and Environment. He is an economic geographer dealing with changes in Israel's rural areas, with an emphasis on different aspects of entrepreneurship. Sofer also addresses questions of national and rural development in the developing world, stressing regional inequality. Another of his research subjects is entrepreneurship in the Arab sector in Israel and the environmental issues that arise from the urbanization and local development processes in Arab communities.
