This volume offers twelve studies based on lectures delivered by participants of the workshop. These studies deal with culture and history, customs and traditions from all North African Jewish communities. The studies are to a large extent based on documents housed in the Yale University Library. This volume is a continuation of volume 1 that appeared in 2011. The authors are scholars from eight universities and colleges in different countries, who are involved in research into different aspects of the history and culture of North Africa Jewry. This book features eight articles written by eight scholars from different universities in Israel. All the articles are based on documents from the Jewish collection of the Yale University Library, New-Haven. The researchers began processing the documents in the workshop held in the library in April 2010 and completed it upon their return to Israel.
