Editor-translator, Emmanuel Koplewitz, served for many years as director of the Arab educational system in Israel. He was a professor of Arabic literature at Tel Aviv University, and a lecturer in Education at the David Yellin College of Education in Jerusalem. He is known as a translator of fundamental books in Arabic, and his studies on the history of Islam in European languages.
