Dr. Wygoda is Chair of the Department of Jewish Philosophy at the Herzog College (Alon Shvut / Jerusalem). He was the Dean of the Herzog College between 1995-2006. During that period he initiated the creation of Beth Midrash for Women in Migdal Oz. He holds a Ph.D in Jewish Philosophy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Summa cum laude) on the Talmudic Philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas. He taught as Lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Jewish Philosophy. Has edited several books and published a wide range of articles mainly on contemporary Jewish and general philosophy. Simultaneously, he works in Jewish education in Europe (France and Italy) and North America.
