Fergus Millar

Prof. Fergus Millar is one of the greatest researchers of Rome and Ancient Greece nowadays. Studied history at University College London and Oxford University in England, among the editors of the "Journal of Roman Studies", president of the British Society for Classical Studies in 1992-1993 and a member of the British Academy. Awarded the Kenyon Medal for Classical Studies in 2005. Among his writings: "The Roman Empire and Its Neighbours", "Emperor in the Roman World", "The Crowd in Rome in the Late Republic", "A Greek Roman Empire".
