Dr. Amit Levi is a researcher in the Department of Israel Studies at the University of Haifa. He has served as a research fellow and visiting scholar at Oxford University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Hebrew University, and the Open University of Israel. Amit's research focuses on the history of knowledge and its migration, and their impact on cross-cultural encounters in the 20th century, particularly in the context of Jewish-Arab relations. Winner of the Ish-Shalom Prize for his debut book in the study of the Land of Israel and its settlement, Yad Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, 1985.
