Social Conflict in Ancient Greece

Synopsis
During the last twenty years of his life, Professor Alexander Fuks (1917-1978) conceived a project of comprehensive study on the social and economic crisis in Greece from the fourth Century BCE until the Roman conquest. This study, encompassing material he had accumulated on various crises, revolutions, coups d'état, and social disturbances, was intended to examine the theoretical background as well as circumstances that kept social and economic problems at the center of Greek life for three centuries. This selection of articles in the subject published in various learned journals, marks a significant contribution to study of the Greek world.
