Prof. Yehuda Judd Ne'eman (1936-2021) was a film scholar and filmmaker of feature and documentary films, many of which left their mark on Israeli cinema, including "The Dress" (1969), "Paratroopers" (1977), "Fellow Travelers" (1984), "Streets of Yesterday" (1989), "Nuzhat Al Fuad" (2006), and "To the Desert" (2016). One of the initiators of the Israeli Film Foundation and founders of the Film and Television Directors Association. Taught film at Tel Aviv University, Oxford, New York, and Boston. Author of "The Wound: Gift of War" (Am Oved 2018), Winner of the Israel Film Prize in 2009.
