Amongst the essays in this volume is an essay by the late Nechama Leibovitz, who was a renowned biblical scholar and also a former recipient of the Israel prize. She writes on how to read a chapter of Tanakh. There is also an article on the child's understanding of the biblical personality, asking to what extent we can expect them to understand the biblical characters, and how to deal with this challenge.
