In the last twenty years, the disappearance of the orchards, which were part of the coastal plane's scenery of Israel on one hand, exposes old buildings, iron gates and Cyprus trees leading no-where on other hand. The purpose of the book is to discover the story of these remnants: to describe the biography of entrepreneurs who came to Palestine in the years 1920s 1930s and invested in Citrus Plantations, to deal with their Zionist ideology and their economic perceptions.
