R. Avraham Ben Efraim, belonging to the second half of the 13th Century, is an obscure figure in medieval rabbinic literature. He is reckoned among the sages of France, and the little that is known of him is derived from his book, which is published here for the first time. The book contains a digest of the work known as Sefer Mitsvot Gadol, composed by R. Moshe Ben Ya’akov of Coucy.
