The book is intended for advanced students of the Hebrew university of Jerusalem division of Hebrew language instruction. Every chapter is dedicated to a different subject. Each chapter has a phrase table related to the subject. The table is accompanied by notes and explanations about the phrases and how they are used in sentences. There is a variety of exercises: conversion, conjunction, word embedding and more. Most of the reading material was taken from or written based on broadcast and written journalism. They represent the Israeli reality from a political, social and linguistic view point.
