Synopsis

This volume presents thirty studies in the fields of Biblical Hebrew, the Hebrew of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Aramaic. These studies deal with matters of orthography and grammar (phonology, morphology, and syntax), lexicology and semantics. There are also discussions of general topics as well as discussions of five Hebrew and Aramaic inscriptions. The studies are presented in four sections: Biblical Hebrew (seven articles); the Hebrew of the Dead Sea Scrolls (ten articles); External Inscriptions (five articles); Aramaic (eight articles).
