It was written to meet the needs of students and teachers, with a desire to update the teaching of physics and fill the shortage of textbooks in this field, which is associated with teaching the subject of sound waves. The gradual development of the concept of sound is discussed in the book by building structured experimental illustrations, as well as mathematical expressions describing this miraculous phenomenon. The illustrations were chosen so that a curious reader could repeat most of the experiments in a home environment without the need for special laboratory equipment. Even for readers unfamiliar with the basics of physical mathematics that describe sound, this book may provide a unique experience and open up a new window to understanding physics.

The New Arabic-Hebrew Dictionary is a comprehensive reference of the Arabic language throughout history, with a focus on its use in spoken and written media. Given Arabic's rich literary tradition spanning over 1,400 years, the language naturally incorporates words and expressions rooted in ancient literary strata, including the Qur'an, classical poetry, proverbs, the Hadith, jurisprudential literature, Adab literature, and historical texts. Terms and expressions from the realm of Islamic theology and jurisprudence, which were considered archaic 50 or 60 years ago, have regained prominence with the rise of fundamentalist Islam in the 1970s. This dictionary offers translations and explanations for these terms as well. After publishing the full dictionary in a large, 700-page edition, we decided it would be useful to publish a more concise version—smaller, portable, and easier to handle. Korot publishes original articles related to medical history covering medicine in Jewish and Hebrew sources, the history of Jewish physicians, medicine in Palestine and Israel and medicine during the Nazi era. There are shorter historical notes on these topics, book reviews and comments on important developments in medical history. Articles are mainly in English but with a significant Hebrew section.

Mithabrim: Syntax for Higher Levels is a practice, comprehension and expression booklet on syntax topics. The booklet is intended for advanced students according to the curriculum of the Hebrew Teaching Unit at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The booklet has two purposes. The first of which is the acquisition and practice of syntactic components and structures at the advanced levels. The topics are practiced in several ways: open exercises, closed exercises, conversions, rewrites. Some of the grammatical topics are preceded by a short grammatical explanation for that section, and at the end of the booklet there are tables related to the syntactic topics as well as solutions to the closed exercises. The second goal of Mithabrim is to cultivate students' comprehension and expression skills with the help of reading passages (essays, articles, etc.). The reading sections, which incorporate the new syntactic topic, deal with different and diverse contents. This is the infrastructure for the activity of reading comprehension and the activity of oral or written expression. For each section, both comprehension questions that relate to the content of the section and expression questions that encourage discussion and conversation on the topic have been added.

In the second half of the twentieth century, the medical community adopted the scientific method as a basis for practice. The path of progress from the laboratory to the patient is also not continuous: sometimes the intervals between steps are large, sometimes sudden jumps occur after a prolonged period of slowing down and even stopping. Scientific and clinical research depends on the initiative, skills and determination of the researchers, and not a little on coincidences and has no fixed timetables. This book is dedicated to revealing the evolution of medical practice, to identifying fundamental changes in practice and to describing the winding way in which they were accepted and assimilated into the body of medical knowledge and the mutual relationship between the doctor and the patient.

This booklet is a test booklet that accompanies the book Hebrew from Scratch Part 2 . The booklet follows the 16 chapters of the book and includes 9 exams following the chapters. The booklet is intended for students studying from the book Hebrew from Scratch Part 2 who wish to test themselves independently at the end of each chapter to assess their level of knowledge and their abilities. Students can also use the solutions at the end of the booklet. The exams refer to all aspects studied in the chapter: reading comprehension, writing following a text, repeating vocabulary, and grammatical knowledge. At the end of the booklet are solutions for the tests. The solutions are for the grammar sections, but not for the comprehension sections. The linguistic instructions are translated into English to make it easier for the students, and in addition, examples are given to solve the exercises.
